Frequently Asked
to ask
Do you have video explanation?
Yes, we've created video explanations for all the alarm settings. You can watch them at youtube.com/loxure.
How do you attach the alarm to my bike?
Attach the alarm to your bike with zip ties, double-sided tape, or a mounting kit. The mounting kit costs €5 extra (including zip ties/tape) and is only suitable for round areas of your bike. Zip ties give you more flexibility in placing the alarm.
What is the battery life?
The alarm's battery lasts approximately 6 months with average use. When the battery is low, the alarm will emit short beeps. Replace the 3 AAA batteries by opening the back of the alarm. First, unscrew the screw and then flip open the cover using the blue triangle.
The remote control uses a 27A 12 Volt battery, which you can order at Bol.com Or you can request one from us. Open the remote control case with a small screwdriver through the two slots on the side. With normal use, the remote control battery should last at least 12 months.
How do you connect an extra remote control
Yes, this is easy and you will need your original remote control. See youtube.com/loxure for video explanation.
How do you adjust the sound strength?
There are three different volume settings: 80, 100, and 120 decibels. The alarm is set to 120 decibels by default. Want to adjust this? Press and hold the open lock until the blue circle at the top goes out and then comes back on. Then click the "Lost bike" button (bell) at the bottom and select the desired volume. Confirm your choice by clicking the open lock again. See youtube.com/loxure for video explanation.
How do you adjust the sensitivity position?
There are 7 sensitivity levels. The default alarm setting is "DO" (highest). To adjust this, press and hold the open lock until the blue circle at the top turns off and then on again. Then click the closed lock at the top. You will now hear the next sensitivity level (RE, MI, FA, etc.). Once you've reached the desired sensitivity, click the open lock to confirm your selection. See youtube.com/loxure for video explanation.
